The Anthropological Studies curriculum is aimed at studying complex cultural and social phenomena and transformations through the acquisition of ethnographic research methods. Particular attention is devoted to documenting and analysing the dynamics of encounter and clash in cross-cultural contexts, continuities and discontinuities between pasts and presents, and practices of response and re-signification in colonial and post-colonial contexts.
